The weather was beautiful*, a lot cooler* (a much welcomed break in the pattern of hot-as-shit days), so Will suggested we bike to the food trucks. I was a bit nervous because I hadn't been on a bike in a few years, but! Turns out it's really tough to forget how to ride a bike*! WHO KNEW?!
We rode around trying to find this particular truck that sells amazing falafel, and found it parked on the Drexel campus. It'd stopped selling food though, so we walked to the adjacent truck. We got some phenomenal Thai beef tacos*, and the guy gave us free bottles of water*! We sat outside and ate and rode back to the house to prepare for the evening's festivities.
The party was pretty cool, it was in this little dive bar called Medusa. There were rope lights and bubbles* and glow bracelets and a fog machine...and Will threw down, concluding his set with his Supernova Girl remix*! As expected, it was very well received. Yahtzee whomp! The dubstep DJ was alright, played a lot of older choons, but did squeeze in Terravita's Dougie remix*, which made me really happy. We helped them tear down the decorations and they gave us a ride back*.
I'm in a lot of pain today, buuuuut it was worth it.
On an unrelated note, Will and I has a discussion regarding the Mac paperclip, Clippy, and if he existed for Ableton. "Hi, it looks like you're trying to make dubstep. Need a hand?"
