No luck on the photo uploading front... I'll post em all when I get back to the states and I can post them directly from my phone.
I spent most of yesterday drawing because a thunderstorm had moved in, rendering outdoor activity unpleasant without heavy rain gear. Once Will got back from Tony's, we decided to walk up to Parc LaFontaine (after the storm, of course) and enjoy the cool weather before checking out a dubstep night at Sapphir. Turns out there was this amazing Brazilian rock band playing a concert in the little amphitheater by the fountain, so we sat and jammed until the end of the show. They even played an encore! From there, we started walking back to Sapphir, and on the way, we saw some weird dancing silhouettes projected on the wall of a building. Some really enthusiastic girls informed us that it was a Sapporo promotional thing where two people stand in front of an XBox Kinect, and it projects an image of a geisha and a sumo wrestler that'll correspond to your movements. Then they film you and upload it onto your Facebook and make you "like" the Sapporo page. So naturally we jumped at the opportunity, and now there's a really great video on Will's wall of us flailing about like idiots! Theeeeen we walked to a surprisingly empty Sapphir, where we sat in a sweet womb chair from the seventies and drank $2 Bromont bières. The DJ, DJewel, was a girl named Émilie who I had met last year at Korokova after Bassnectar played Piknik. When she finished her set, we went back to the house to meet up with Michael, then returned to Sapphir. We ran into Dave there, and listened to some girls from Nova Scotia recount a really hilarious camping trip, aaaaand then we went home and watched Adventure Time.
You can tell when I get sick of typing on here.
