IIIIIIN WEST PHILADELPHIA

Born and raised, on a playground is where I spent most of my days.

I made it! My flight left Denver yesterday at 10:30am and I ended up arriving in Philly at 4:05 (five minutes ahead of schedule). I took a train from the airport to 30th St station, where I met up with Will and headed to to the Wall Cat-- his and Katie's casa, named for an incident where there were...cats...in the walls. His friends came over and we barbequed and relaxed. Talked music. Soaked up the sticky heat. Like G's. One of Will's roommates is out of town, so instead of a couch, I get a bedroom! With a bed! Thanks, Hotels.com. Best deal ever.

Slept in until noon today, played the greatest Playstation game ever, Little Big Planet. Leftover wings for breakfast at two. Then we walked ALL the way to Center City to hand out flyers for Will's show on Thursday. It was the longest walk ever (well two and a half hours ish) on the hottest day ever, but it was bearable firstly because every so often we'd walk into a wind tunnel. Secondly, many businesses can afford to crank the AC with the windows and doors open, as to make the sidewalk a cooler place for pedestrians. Thirdly. Water ice. Or "wooder" ice, if you're from Jersey. It's Italian ice made with real fruit, and it's served out of a truck! Philly rocks! Epic walk time preceded Epic Meal Time at Le Mur de Chat, and now I'm here writing. Huzzah!

We're gonna public transport our way to Montreal this weekend I believe. Until then, I'm going to stalk ?uestlove since he's apparently in the city, all the time. I will find him.
