I write this from the guest room in my Mom's basement, as she will be my ride in the morning. It's 11pm and my alarm is set for 3:25 am, we're leaving around 4-ish... As exhausted as I am from today's tumultuous pack-a-thon (definitely managed to fit two months' worth of stuff into a compact piece of carry-on luggage; no please, save your applause for the end), sleep is just not happening. Not now, anyway. This anxious sleep-deprivation will definitely come in handy once I land in Montréal, especially since I'm pretty sure an evening of baltic jazz with the roommates is in the works. Er, they have Red Bull in Canada right? Eh? Eh...

My last weekend in Colorado was amazing. I feel like I saw a lot of friends and family, even if just briefly, and all the farewell activities went beautifully, and the weather was pleasant, AAAAND I got everything very well organized and packed and included in time for my departure in a few hours. Knock on wood... there's no wood in the vicinity. Awesome. But anyway, to understate it severely, I very thoroughly enjoyed this evening. :)

Time to download Man on Wire and make a playlist or four and sleep, maybe.
